These photos are of Mesa Verde National Park. Mesa Verde is a collection of cliff dwellings in southwestern Colorado. The Puebloan people created sandstone edifices in the cliffs where they lived for hundreds of years. Mesa Verde is now a site on the United Nations World Heritage list for it's cultural importance, not only to Colorado, but to the world.
